What’s the Downlow?

So here I am, deciding to start another blog... go figure Deborah! it’s not like your not a crazy mess with the millions of things you already have on your plate.... go up for a second helping.

So with that being said yes i have decided to start a new blog chronicling my families future journey from here in the South East to there the South West. We are moving from Georgia 2 Arizona..... a distance of 1720.49 miles and a 25 hour 34 minute trip. We will be leaving in the Spring and let me tell you that time is fast approaching.

So let me give you some background, I am a very happily married lady, mother of 2. Originally from England I have lived in the states for quite some time. I have been in Georgia since 96’. Some important info about this blog, there are a few details I have to leave out because well the safety of my family. My husband will be referred to as the “Mr” and well you will most likely never see a Photo of him.... only because well he has the type of job where I shouldn’t and wont. Nough said about that.

We are moving from Atlanta, Georgia to Sierra Vista, Az. This to me is not only really exciting but also extremely scary... basically I wasn’t to thrilled about leaving my family here and all of my friends or pulling my daughter from her school, family & friends. My “JellyBean” (AKA Daughter) has had a pretty hard time adjusting to the fact that we are moving but I think she will do great. Besides I know God has big plans for our family and I know God has a plan for her as well.

it was about a month and a half ago that we got the news that we were definitely moving, we had had our house on the market for nearly 5 months with only one measly showing...... however with in 24 hours of learning of our move God Sold our house. It was amazing. A cash offer for only 400 dollars less than we had it listed. (Excitedly they didn’t want anything other that my old Washing Machine & Dryer, & our 9 year old Refrigerator. (secretly I was ecstatic to be rid of them, so excited about upgrading, can we say “STEAM SETTING!”) That means they didn’t want my awesome window treatments I love, or my fabulous crystal chandelier that will be used in my daughters new bedroom, SWEETNESS! Our inspection went off without a HITCH... was an amazing thing especially in this market. We knew God had put things into motion and that his PLAN for us was for us to move. I have no doubts that what my family is venturing into is completely in Gods hands. I feel completely at ease knowing that.

So that is where we are at.... we are in the process of packing like crazy, well I am. The “Mr.” has had to leave us for six months.... so I am flying solo for the time being, so between him having to be gone and raising two kiddos, our 2 dogs and all the craziness of getting packed and ready to go..... it is really nice knowing the "BIG GUY UP THERE" has it all in his hands.

I will have a lot more to tell you about how God has really shown his hand in the next post I just wanted to introduce the new blog..... & invite you to follow us through what I know is going to be a “LIFE CHANGING JOURNEY” from the South East 2 the South West.
